[Changelog] [New Feature] Transfer Data Between Different Mi Devices Made EasY

“Transfer” is the latest feature that had been introduced into MIUI 7. With Transfer, fellow MIUIers can transfer system, data, accounts and contacts from older Xiaomi device to a new Xiaomi device. Changing Xiaomi phones has made easy with Transfer. Now, I like to show you guys on how Transfer works so that you guys can change phones easily, yet still retain all the settings and apps arrangements in your old device. How cool is this! First of all, both of the device have to be installed with the ROM that enable Transfer, in this thread, both of my Mi3 is flashed with Dev ROM 5.11.6. Old device From the old device, go to Setting>Additional settings>Transfer>Select “I’m a sender”>select the items that you want to transfer to the new device>Select one device to transfer Data                             New device From the new device, go to Setting>Additional settings>Transfer>I’m a recipient>Select the device that you have selected in the old device. Now, both the devices have been connected and data will be transferred from the old device to new device. The transferring period is dependent on the size of data you want to carry over to the new phone.                              Wolla, data transfer completed.
