Hey there! Today, I am going to show you some wonderful Xposed modules that work with both MIUI 6 and MIUI 7. What are we waiting for? Let's get right into it!
Disclaimer: I am not responsible for what happens to your device. I have tried all modules on my Redmi Note 4G Singapore set running MIUI 6 Developer ROM. You have to be rooted in order to use Xposed.
What's Xposed?
Xposed is a framework for modules that can change the behavior of the system and apps without touching any APKs. That's great because it means that modules can work for different versions and even ROMs without any changes (as long as the original code was not changed too much). It's also easy to undo. As all changes are done in the memory, you just need to deactivate the module and reboot to get your original system back. There are many other advantages, but here is just one more: Multiple modules can do changes to the same part of the system or app. With modified APKs, you to decide for one. No way to combine them, unless the author builds multiple APKs with different combinations.

Awesome Pop-up Video is a video player unlike others. It plays the video in a pop-up window above other applications, just like on your computer. It is exactly like iOS 9's Picture-in-picture mode.
Multi-task! Why stop watching your TV show if someone sends you a message or get a new email?
When you watch videos in applications like YouTube™, Vimeo, Google Chrome etc. you will get a notification to pop-out the currently being played video or directly download the video on your device.
**To make it work with YouTube you will also need "Awesome Pop-up Video - YouTube Module".**
** To make it work with Twitch you will also need "Awesome Pop-up Video - Twitch Module".**
Note: This will not work for applications that have implemented custom video player like VLC, MX Player etc.
Also, you can enter video URL in the application from your favorite video site like TED, Vimeo, IMDB… and "Awesome Pop-up Video" will try to show the video in a pop-up.

Android reports pressure of your touch when you tap, press, swipe, and so on. However, the pressure is different from Apple's Force Touch Technology. (It is mechanical implementation, isn't it?) Android's pressure is depending on touch area of your finger, not strength. But the touch area provides us new UI.
If you touch with the ball of the thumb, the touch area increases. Call it "Force Touch" in this project. It is possible to distinguish ordinary touch operation from deliberately Force Touch because there is a distinct difference between these touch area. By checking whether a touch event is started from Force Touch, you can change the action of the touch.
Example: Open launcher when you do force tap that is a tap started from Force Touch. Go back by performing force flick to the right is a flick started from Force Touch. Expand notifications by performing force flick to bottom anywhere.

Stock Gmail app allows a user of third party mailboxes to attach files up to 5MB per mail which is absolutely too little. This module increases the limit up to 25MB.
Tested against Gmail 5.1 on both Android 4.4.2 and 5.0.2.
It is potentially working with previous Gmail versions from the 5.x line, may work for future updates.

First you need install Xposed framework (http://repo.xposed.info) and enable it. Then enable the Fonter module on the Xposed modules screen and reboot your device.
After that, you can select the "Color font" menu on my tab. Pick the app you want to change, and enable change app font function on the app's settings screen, pick the font you want to use.
This module fixing external SD card write issue on Android 4.4 KitKat. Module does not have any setting activity. Just enable it in Module tab and restart your phone.
No need to patch platform.xml file.

Play Store Changelog is an Xposed Module to always display an app's full changelog instead of the first four lines. I created it because it annoyed it that I had to click 'Read more' to see the full changelog. Thereafter, it has the option to change the default pane from Store Home to My Apps.
Simply enable the module and reboot. After you changed any settings they are applied instantly.

2. ActivityForceNewTask
Apps can launch other apps' activities inside their task. This makes it impossible to switch back and forth between the two. This module sets the FLAG_ACTIVITY_NEW_TASK flag when starting a new activity, which 'fixes' that.

Force Touch Detector (FTD) is a Xposed module to detect Force Touch and switch touch action. FTD assigns seven force actions:
- Tap

- Long Press

9. MinMinGuard
MinMinGuard can completely remove both the ads inside apps and the empty space caused by those ads. Conventional ads removing apps are only able to block the ad content, but the space taken by the ad will still remain unused (black). MinMinGuard successfully removes that black space, which extends the app window and makes your user-experience better.
